This page explains what data The Threads Empire (operated by Simple Wealth Dad) collects, why, and how to control it. Plain English, no dark patterns.
1. What we collect
a. Anonymous analytics (only with consent)
If you click Accept on the cookie banner, we record anonymous events to understand which content works:
- Page visits, scroll depth, button clicks, time on page
- A random visitor ID stored in your browser (not linked to your name or email unless you log in)
- Approximate country (derived from IP via country.is; the IP itself is not stored)
- Referrer (which site sent you here) and page path
If you click Decline, none of the above is recorded. You can change your choice anytime using the button below.
b. Account data (only if you sign in)
If you log in via Google, Meta, Microsoft, or email, we store: your email, display name, profile photo URL, sign-in provider, and any reviews or progress you save. Authentication is handled by Google Firebase Authentication.
c. Payment data
Payments are processed by Gumroad. We never see or store your card details. See Gumroad's privacy policy. After purchase, Gumroad sends us your email so we can grant member access.
d. Email subscriptions
If you enter your email in the Subscribe box, we store it to send occasional updates about new modules and Threads tips. Unsubscribe anytime via the link in any email.
2. What we don't do
- We don't sell your data.
- We don't run ad pixels (no Meta Pixel, no Google Ads, no TikTok Pixel).
- We don't use third-party tracking cookies.
- We don't share data with brokers.
3. Cookies & local storage
We use your browser's localStorage (not server-set cookies) to remember:

4. Where data is stored
Analytics events, accounts, and reviews are stored in Google Firebase (Firestore + Authentication). Firebase is a Google Cloud service. Data may be processed in the EU and US under Google's standard contractual clauses.
5. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
You can:
- Withdraw analytics consent — use the button below
- Request a copy of your data — DM @simplewealthdad on Threads
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data — same DM
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
We respond to data requests within 30 days.
6. Refunds
